The ID does not say anything about the memory type. There are loads of cards sharing the same ID using a different memory type (10de:0dd2 for example). The different ID's of some card types mean different chip types, not different memory types. This ID is the GF106 version, and 10de:0dcd is the GF108 version.

This isn't 555M - this is 540M. Lots of people having "device 0df4" in LSPCI report having a GT 540M.
