According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_8_Series#GeForce_8300_and_8400_Series, NVidia released two versions of this card under the same name: based on the G86 chip and based on the G98 chip. This card supports PCIe 2.0, so it's G98.

There's a space between 8400 and GS everywhere.
NVidia indeed released both G86 and G92 versions, but this is none of both. It's a GT218, and the 8400 GS name is probably a mistake by NVidia.
