Who's registered these? Vendor ID fffe is not VMware, Inc. Please delete them.

Are you sure that older versions of VMware did not use this vendor ID for its virtual devices? As far as I remember, it has been seen in the wild by several people independently.

Sorry Martin, just saw your comment.
Here's the response I got from my colleage Petr Vandrovec about these PCI IDs:
----------------quote------------
GESP is not ours, for sure. One of SVGAs is ours, first PCI svga was
there before 15ad was assigned to VMware, so it uses 0xFFFE.

As no-one can run product which used 0xfffe anymore (hey, ISA vlance?
even I almost do not remember that), you should probably ask Martin to
change fffe VMWare Inc => Unassigned FFFE, and change FFFE:0710 to
'VMware Virtual SVGA' (I do not think FFFE:0405 ever existed)

As long as the ID is not registered by anybody else, I will keep VMWare as a vendor, but add a note that it's not an officially assigned ID. Also, I will remove all devices except for 0710.
